TUTOR INFORMATION AND EMPLOYMENT

ABCaTutor, LLC ™, invites any person satisfying the requirements for employment. You’ll join our team of Tutors that are passionate about helping those requiring skill(s) assistance and is committed to making our Country stronger. We are looking for Tutors who are passionate about helping our American children get back on track from the years of educational mismanagement, the pandemic, and the lack of support that will give our children a way to get on level, successful, enjoying school again, and happy. This helps the student, parents, teachers, and school districts. Our mission is to educate as many children (and adults) for as long as it takes to connect the missing information so the student feels confident, excited about school, and a proficient learner and better citizen. If you feel the same, that is the first step to becoming part of our team.

The process of employment would be:

  • Complete the application.
  • A degree of some kind is required.
  • Teaching experience is not required.
  • Auto-deposit will be required for payment.
  • Be prepared for an online interview to review your application and discuss the program.
  • You will be asked to present a 20–30-minute lesson on a simple subject to the Administrator as if he/she was a student. So be prepared with materials required and a plan in place. Materials are always a better way to teach a lot of skills and are highly recommended. Please let the Administrator know if he/she will need materials for your mock lesson.
  • After the interview, you will be sent the Pay and Incentive scale. The Administrator will give you time to review it online during the session.
  • If you are interested and we feel you would complement the company, you will be offered a position. After that, you will receive an abundant amount of paperwork (just being honest) for you to complete and return as soon as possible. Once you have completed this information and signed your contract, you will be released to accept classes*. Tutors are also able to create a class, contact Administration for it to be added to the calendar of classes.
  • *If training is required, the release to accept classes will be postponed. Training will be provided by an Administrator.

This program is COUNTRY-wide. It is completely online. If you read through the other pages of the website; you be able to understand the way the program works. The backside that isn’t written for the public are the following items that pertain to the Tutors. We don’t ask for much; but what we do is important for the children’s success and for you to be successful as a Tutor and be able to advance in the company. Please feel free to share the opportunity with others (Pre-K – College and testing preparation). It might be a specific subject you are proficient in or maybe you are a K-6 or high school certified and can take classes in a large range of subjects and grades.
There are many advantages to working with our company. Some of the perks are a flexible schedule (work when you want to), work from home (find an undisturbed area – having animals and kids interrupting class takes away from the student(s). You’ll be part of a supportive and encouraging community of others that want to make this Country better and help children. Everyone can be a support to one another, share ideas for classes, and discuss a student’s progress.

Our company is Trademarked.  Before using anything regarding the company, including the logo, please contact the Administrator.  We hope to be able to provide marketing materials to you such as business cards and flyers to pass out or leave on school counters.

The process of the program is as follows:

  1. The parents register their student for the program. A program will be chosen to start with; either a GROUP CLASS or a SUBSCRIPTION.  The difference: GROUP means there will be up to 10 students in the class. This could go higher, depending on the Tutor approving it and the Tutor being released by the Administration to accept more students based on following the program guidelines, and positive reviews from the parent. The SUBSCRIPTION is a choice of 4 different class groups and times that saves the parent money. See the Subscription page to understand more.
  2. After registration, the Administration will have a ZOOM call with the parent and student. If permission is granted, an assessment test will be given to gather information on what level the student is on. This will be shared with all Tutors so all will know about the student if enrolled in one of Tutor’s classes.
  3. The parents will be given the go ahead to schedule classes once the student is assessed and their fee for the classes of choice are paid.
  4. Once a parent requests a class, the Administrator on duty will contact the Tutor (if requested or ALL tutors) that this is a requested class. The first Tutor to accept the assignment will receive it.  If you are directly requested, you will have the opportunity to accept or deny.
  5. Once the Tutor is assigned, the parent will receive notice of acceptance and a link to pay for the class (unless it’s a pre-paid subscription). A spot will be held for the child.
  6. Once paid, the student will be placed in the class and the Tutor will receive notice of such. The Tutor will need to create a class on ZOOM and get the link for the class. It will be the Tutor’s responsibility to send the student’s parents an email of confirmation, introduction, the ZOOM link and a list of materials required for the class.
  7. Once during the class, the Tutor should make sure it is recording. All recordings of classes will be submitted to Administration until signed off. It should be expected that the Tutor will continue to record the classes and keep them all in a specific and private location (USB memory will work). This may be required to viewed in the future if a parent has an issue with the class, which Administration will request the video to review. Or, it may be to send to another Tutor to watch the student which he/she will have for a future class.  They can be very helpful.
  8. After the class, the Tutor will email Administration with the class information, the date/time, student names and any comments about students that will eventually be placed on a Tutor blog page. This will be a place for Tutor’s and Administration to communicate and be able to read comments regarding students’ behavior and class performance. Other things like successes and what should be reviewed can be included.
  9. After the class, the Tutor will send each parent a detailed synopsis of how their student performed during the class and attach any follow-up practice pages or suggestions. It’s always best to give the parent something tangible to work with.
  10. Once the Administration receives the Tutor’s email of completion, (we hope to have this automated in the future as well), the video should be attached and it will be watched. If in compliance, payment will be made by direct deposit into the Tutor’s account of choice.
  11. Tutors will be required to attend a company ZOOM meeting once a month. This will fall on different days each month instead of a specific day to avoid as many conflicts as possible. This will be a follow-up meeting to talk about what is and what isn’t working. Certain aspects of the classes where there is a concern. It will be a place where we can get to know one another. Also, any other pertinent information that should be known. There might even be a small training session.
  12. Tutors will be required to attend initial and continuous training sessions so all can improve.
  13.
